Lab Belonging to Anton Sevarius

Albany sighed and found a wall to sit against, adjusting a bit so her wings were comfy. "it seems to be only one way in. or at least the only way out for us not knowing of any other doors." she adjusted a little more. "how long til morning now?" she was visibly nervous. if they all fell asleep and something happened....what if they all fell asleep and woke up somewhere else.... or didnt wake up.... she shuddered at the thought and just hugged her knees to her chest, trying to calm herself.

Shadowstrike was moving around doing his best to keep everyone calm, but he was scared. He did not show it. He was doing his best to keep everyone else calm. He looked at Albany, "Morning is about 12 hours after Sunset. We turn to stone in about an hour."

He looked at two very large Gargoyles. "Come here. Stand the Door. I am going out there. I am doing a perimeter patrol. Kill anything that is not me." He moved the pipes. He went out. He took off running. He was moving fast through the tunnels. He was using his nose to track. He smelled something, it smelled like the Gargoyle Mutates. He intentionally left scent makers. He looped around. He reached into the water in the sewers. He pulled out bicycle chains, old belts, and old clothes. He created a trap outside the door. If they knocked the door open, what he was building would sling rocks, nuts, bolts, and small scrap metal at them. He torqued it down as tight as possible. It would damage anyone who messed with this badly. He returned, "It is me, Shadowstrike." They let him in. "Patrol is done. I think I drew the attention of the Mutates. We should have visitors soon."

Claw was returning to Talon. Later Claw and Talon return. Talon pointed out the trap and they left.

albany cringed at the word kill as he left. "be safe." she whispered. she went about checking with the others. it was obvious she was scared, but helping the others was helping her. "it'll all be ok. we'll be fine." she kept saying, trying to convince herself as much as she was them. when it was closer to time for sleep, she was getting anxious seeing as how he hadnt returned yet. when he finally returned, she sighed and hugged him. "thank goodness!" she breathed. "you think we might have help? are we sure we can trust them?"

Shadowstrike looked at him, "According to the Notes here, they can not stand the Man who made us. The Man who made us hurt you. I do not like him. We find common ground. Trust comes later."

"i suppose that makes sense....." she lets him go and walks back to a few others. she sits down and sighs. "i guess now we wait. the sun or them. one will come first." she was visibly more relaxed and even managed to smile a little.

Within 10 Minutes, the Sun started to rise. Gargoyles started to turn to Stone. Shadowstrike looked at Albany, "This is it." It hurt a little, but soon he turned to stone.

She looked at him and smiled. "i suppose that I will see you tonight then." she winced a little as the stone took hre over. her last thought before she fell completely into sleep was a small prayer for everything to go ok.

Just before Sunset, the trap went off, killing Quarrymen. Sevarius was angry with the Clones. They were supposed to be weak and submissive, butca he did not know that Puck and the Baby he was training changed that.

He came in and pointed, "I told you there were Gargoyles here. They are doing Lab Experiments, possibly on humans."

The Quarrymen started smashing Gargoyles. That is when Talon and Claw came in. Talon yelled, "Sevarius." There was fighting. Only two Gargoyles were left. This gave them time to awaken. Shadowstrike and Albany awoke. When he awoke, he sparked electricity. He looked around and he roared. One of the Quarrymen hit him with the power hammer. It did not hurt him, it just pissed him off.

Albany, as soon as she was awake, immediatly went for a corner out of the way. she tripped over the remains of the others and realized what had happened. once she managed to find a wall behind her, fear and tears in her eyes, she darted for the door. the only safe place was away from here. as she ran out the door, she slammed right into one of the guys who were attacking. she struggled to get up and off him, trying to keep him pinned. "Shadowstrike!" she called behind her as he started to overpower her and get up, dragging her along.

Shadowstrike was hit again. He threw one of the Quarrymen into another that was attacking Claw. Then he ran for Albany. He shoved his talons through the armor and into the chest of the Quarrymine who was attacking Albany. "You will not hurt another one of Mine." The Quarryman began to cough up blood onto Albany's face. Shadowstrike did not know why, but he was trying to protect the computer system as much as possibe.

Albany closed her eyes and drew back a little bit as the blood splattered her face. she pushed the quarryman off and began to wipe the blood off her face. blood was no fun to have in your eyes. she got up and stood against a wall. she wasnt any good in a fight and was more afraid than anything.

Sevarius was copying the data from his hard drives. He pulled the memory disk. He was going to start wiping the hard drives, but Talon stopped him and threw him into a wall. The Quarrymen were still attacking. Severius, being the rodent he is, slipped out, unseen. Quarrymen were dead or unconscious.

Shadowstrike squared off against Talon. Talon spoke, "The Fighting is Done, Brother. We do not have to do this."

Shadowstrike looked at him, "They were my Brothers and Sisters. The Quarrymen killed my clan." He took a deep breath. "The Human who made us. He lead them here."

Talon looked at him, "Sevarius has a tendency to scrap his projects. I am sorry we did not get here in time to save more of your Clan. How long have you been here?"

Shadowstrike went over and wiped the blood from Albany's Face, he spoke to Talon, "We woke up for the first time last night."

Albany practically jumped into Shadowstrike's arms after he wiped the blood from her face. she started to cry, her tears leaving streaks in the dried blood on her face. "I told them that everything was going to be ok... but... they were lost...." she looked at the ground, littered with stone. She knelt down, touching some of it. "we can't just leave them here.... they deserve something...." she took a breath, calming herself. "perhaps the scottish clan will know of some funeral rite?"

Talon looked at them, "We have friends who will know what to do. We will have them gathered up. I am Talon, and this is Claw."

Shadowstrike looked over at them, "Mutates. Like the the Computer. You hate Sevarius. We had Sevarius and these." He kicked over one of the Quarrymen. "We will go with you."

Talon made a call, and left a voicemail, "Elisa, this is Talon. Tell our Friends, we need their help." He knew she was going to work and would check it later.

Albany stood up and looked to Talon. She wiped the tears from her face and managed to force a smile. "I was named Albany. I don't mean to seem unappreciative. I have just been so much in the last day. At least they felt nothing...."

Talon looked at him, "We found you because were were tracking Sevarius. I am not unsympathetic. I know you two have both been through a lot. I am giving you a chance to help in that hunt, and possibly learn from True Gargoyles, what Gargoyles are."

Shadowstrike looked at Talon. Then he looked at Albany.

"i'm no fighter. But I don't want to stay here. As few as they are, they are memories that I charish and do not wish to live in constant reminder of the things that happened here. There is still food here, which can be used. I'm willing to follow you and meet the others like me."

Shadowstrike nodded. He looked at Claw. There were feature similarities that they both recognized.

Shadowstrike and Albany followed them to the Labyrinth. The Humans they protect came back with bings, putting each Gargoyle in a separate Bin. They were put in there own pile. They tried to keep them as separate as possible. They also unhooked all the Computer equipment and and brought it.
